Monty is a global brand and marketing executive who is infinitely curious and impassioned by the potential and power of creativity without borders, and unexpected new mediums to vitalize ideas through.
Over the course of her career, Monty has expressed herself through brand storytelling, products, experiences, paper media, films and the written word. She exists in the grey galaxy where ideas, strategy and innovation meet. Her leadership, work and point of view have been noted by culture and business press including Fast Company, Wired, Paper, brandchannel, AdWeek, Dazed Digital and Forbes. Work has also been awarded by The FWA, D&AD, Clio and Cannes Lions.
She was most recently Head of Global Brand and Marketing at Knog, SVP, Global Strategy, New Products and Platforms within Citi’s digital transformation division in both NYC and Australia and was previously Chief Marketing Officer at Dots, a design-first mobile game company with over 100 million downloads.
Before Dots, Monty was Strategy & Creative Lead at Mother New York, driving ideas across a diverse portfolio of Mother's largest clients including Calvin Klein Jeans & Fragrance, Target and Stella Artois. Other work includes leadership for the Myspace UX design overhaul and a series of delightful freelance jaunts with brands including PepsiCo, Leica and Nicopanda. Since her departure from Citi in January 2021 she has been freelancing for global brands and agencies with a few longer term roles at some very cool Aussie brands and businesses. Her experience spans Fashion, FMCG, Technology, Finance and beyond.
Monty was born and raised in New York City and is an avid collector of leather jackets, platform sneakers and multi-colored vintage streetwear. Her legal first name is Ondriona, but she goes solely by her last. Monty identifies with all pronouns and currently lives and works in Melbourne as a Permenant Resident— with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Skidmore College.
